Lotherton Hall in Leeds is an Edwardian country house, and a museum for historical items. I was approached by the curator team to photograph their dress collection for an exhibition called 'What shall I Wear?'. We opted for a dramatic black background to really highlight the garments.

These dresses are extremely delicate and I worked closely with curator Natalie Raw who mounted the dresses in preparation for photography. The exhibition featured garments from famous designers such as Normal Hartnell and Victor Stiebel.

360 Degree Photography was an important aspect of this project. I had not undertaken this photography for objects so large, but with some creative solutions we were able to produce good looking 360 degree spins of the dresses.
